High-quality community and sporting infrastructure is so important for our local kids and families. They provide a space to be physically active and foster social connection, especially among young people.

That’s why I have secured $600,000 from the Cook Labor Government to deliver a new BMX track at Lysander Park in Heathridge.

In recent months I have been doorknocking and phone calling local residents to discuss the Heathridge BMX Track and hear their views. I also hosted a recent Mobile Office at Lysander Park and St Michaels Park.

I would like to thank all the local residents who shared their views on this project with me. This enabled me to share the views of community members about additional infrastructure that can be installed at the park.
