“The State Government went to the last election with a promise to get this project moving and we’re doing exactly that. Now, let’s see it though.”
- Emily Hamilton MLA
Emily Hamilton is delivering this significant State Government infrastructure, with Ocean Reef Marina works started.
Construction on the Ocean Reef Marina is making great progress.
The new breakwaters and outer sea walls are now complete, having recently reached their full length and height.
As the breakwaters now shield and protect the coastline of the project, construction on the Ocean Reef Marina has moved into the next phase of land-based works.
The world-class development is expected to provide a $3 billion injection into our local economy.
Our community has been excited about this project from the outset, participating in consultation and sharing their ideas.
