- Cancer Council WA receives more than $2 million to deliver public health activities over the next three years
- The funding is delivered through Healthway and focuses on increasing healthy eating and preventing harm from alcohol
Health Minister Roger Cook today announced Cancer Council WA has recently been awarded a $2.1 million grant to undertake a suite of public health activities over the next three years to help encourage healthy lifestyles.
The funding will help Cancer Council WA conduct policy and research related work to achieve significant and positive health outcomes relating to healthy eating and alcohol related harm in our community.
The McGowan Government, through Healthway, works with funded organisations to deliver public health activities, create healthy events and promote healthy lifestyles.
