Sports hall officially opened at Ocean Reef Senior High School

  • New $8.2 million sports hall officially opens at Ocean Reef Senior High School
  • Facilities include a multi-purpose indoor sports court
  • Part of WA Labor Government's record $4.4 billion investment in school infrastructure

The state-of-the-art new sports hall at Ocean Reef Senior High School has been officially opened.

The $8.2 million indoor facility will provide for basketball, volleyball and netball and incorporates change rooms and a new office for Health and Physical Education staff.

The sports hall has a better connection to the school’s oval for athletics, AFL and soccer programs as well as connection to outside courts for tennis, basketball and netball programs.

Community groups will also be able to use the hall outside of school hours.

Cox Architecture designed the sports hall and construction was completed by Universal Construction Pty Ltd.

The project is part of the WA Labor Government's record $4.4 billion investment in new and improved school infrastructure across the State.
