A re-elected Cook Labor Government will deliver $80,000 for The Spiers Centre to construct and install a new Nature Playground & Patio in its premises.

The Spiers Centre, in Heathridge, provides support and information to individuals and families from across the northern suburbs with the aim to create strong communities.

A new playground and patio would enhance the outdoor space for community members to gather, socialise, and enjoy their local Neighbourhood Centre. It would be a valuable addition to existing facilities and would contribute to a more welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Spiers Centre’s programs include a playgroup, parenting and family services, workshops and support groups, and emergency relief for those in need.

This new playground and upgraded patio will make it that much easier for The Spiers Centre’s staff to continue to provide a welcoming and warm space for families, contribute to the overall well-being of clients, and while supporting those in the community who need it most.
