The Cook Labor Government is investing in our local schools to create quality education for WA kids.”

All Joondalup public schools have benefited from a significant investment in STEM. WA kids are already making the most of the WA Labor Government’s primary school science program.
Every public primary school in Joondalup has been fitted out with a state-of-the-art dedicated STEM lab and equipment such as 3D models, digital microscopes, 3D printers, virtual reality headsets, robotics kits and renewable energy kits.
I am proud to be delivering significant upgrades at Ocean Reef Senior High School, including a new Sports Hall and a new STEM classroom. This is on top of the $5 million Performing Arts Centre that I previously delivered at the school.
The Cook Labor Government is also delivering $20.4 million of upgrades at North Metropolitan TAFE in Joondalup with a new specialist light automotive trade training workshop which is now complete. The facility is delivering high-tech training in new and emerging auto technologies, including electric vehicles.
