A re-elected McGowan Labor Government will deliver $10,000 to purchase training equipment and uniforms for Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club.

Established in 1980, this community-based junior football club develops young players for the future using fun, skills-based coaching.

Based at Heathridge Park, Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club is growing and has strong female participation.

Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club needs marquees to use as temporary female change rooms, as well as training equipment and uniforms.

The funding will purchase four marquees to use as female change rooms, two exercise bicycles to use for warming down, women’s training uniforms, women’s training equipment and footballs.

In further good news for the club, a re-elected McGowan Labor Government will provide $2.5 million towards the upgrade of community and sporting facilities at Heathridge Park to better meet community and sporting needs.
