Comments attributed to Joondalup MLA Emily Hamilton:

“Grassroots sport is at the heart of our communities, and it brings benefits to everyone involved.

“With around 3000 athletes playing sport or participating in recreational activities at Heathridge Park Clubrooms, I know this will be a welcome announcement. These facilities are the second oldest community facilities in the City of Joondalup. A McGowan Labor Government will invest $2.5 million towards the upgrade of the clubrooms and ensure women and girls have access to top-quality facilities.

“I am so proud to be able to deliver for our local groups.”

Comments attributed to Burns Beach MLA Mark Folkard:

“The McGowan Labor Government is committed to the development of sustainable infrastructure across the state.

“The funding for Joondalup Kinross Cricket will allow the club to train later in the evening, giving members more flexibility.”

Comments attributed to Kingsley MLA Jessica Stojkovski:

“Local sport plays a key role helping locals keep healthy, active and connected with their community.

“Supporting local community groups has been a priority of mine since I was first elected in 2017, so I am delighted to be able to support Edgewater Woodvale Junior Football Club with new equipment.”
